Our Mission
Committed to fair wages, human talent, and communal sustainability
“And the day when our human race has fully matured, it will not define itself as the sum of the inhabitants of the globe, but as the infinite unity of their reciprocities.”
— Frantz Fanon, The Wretched of the Earth
Our Principles
No Generative AI Usage
We refuse to be an accomplice to mass surveillance, intellectual property theft, and environmental exploitation. We do not, and will not use generative AI for assets, content, or design mockups.
Validated Sources
We ensure the accuracy of any copy or blog we write, with proper citations and/or links, and give credit where it's due for photography, data, quotes, and community-sourced information/assets.
Fair Wage
We are a small business, but we do what we can. All our partnering contractors are paid a minimum wage of $25/hr. We hire locally first and will never participate in exploitative offshore outsourcing.
Accessibility First
Accessibility is not just for SEO. It’s humanitarianism. We hold ourselves accountable for providing accurate image descriptions and aim for maximum accessibility for all.

Our Story
2017
I started this company on a whim. I was in my last year of college, in a toxic and abusive marriage, and struggling with mental health to the point I could not hold a normal employment. I began freelancing and taking on apprenticeships and one day stumbled upon, as the knowledge-seeking Gemini I am, “Westerlund I:” the brightest young star cluster in the universe. It was fitting for someone grasping onto whatever light she could find to keep her moving forward, so there goes the formation.
2019
With the double impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and my divorce, I was liberated and in a financial pickle. This was the year when I invested everything I had into my marketing business and, fortunately, made it work with the help of many I’ve met along the way. However, as I didn’t have a clear picture of my self-hood and my goal as a business, I went through my first rebrand to give myself a more commercial image. I deeply regretted that decision and hated the brand that was the result.
2021 to 2023
Moving to Chicago and then back to Kansas City helped me understand where my passions lie. I gained experience not only in SEO and digital marketing but also in art, journalism, facilitation, and curation. I began to regard my skills in digital marketing as not just an effective means to keep myself financially sustainable, but also an important and helpful tool for my community and an integral piece to my artistic practice.
2026
After reorganizing my professional avenues and investing more than half of my time in my creative practice, I’ve rebranded, again. This time, I returned to the inspiration of my original 2017 logo, which resembled a bunny flipped upside down, inspired by my beloved fur babies. But I changed the neon, youthful, and somewhat confrontational palette back then to the earth tone representing nature and sustainability, which I’ve grounded my artistic practice in.
